The Parisian Hotel Barrière Le Fouquet has transformed its restaurant Le Joy into an enchanting winter garden for the holiday season. Nestled within the hotel’s garden, the space features a cozy igloo village that offers guests a distinctive cold-weather dining experience in the heart of Paris.
Each igloo is thoughtfully furnished with fireplaces, comfortable sofas, festive lighting and white decorative trees to create an intimate and warm atmosphere. The seasonal menu, crafted by Chef Clément Le Norcy, highlights winter flavors and can be paired with a curated selection of Champagnes from Maison Veuve Clicquot. For a special tasting, the Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin La Grande Dame pairing includes a bottle of the exclusive Champagne alongside a choice of 16 sweet and savory bites.

Le Joy has long been celebrated for its inventive cocktail program that complements the restaurant’s menu. Signature drinks include the French Martini—made with vodka, Chambord, pineapple juice and vanilla syrup—and the Hibiscus Show, prepared with Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Champagne, Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge, cranberry juice and hibiscus syrup. These are examples of the creative cocktails diners can enjoy while seated in the comfortable igloos.
The restaurant continues to offer its popular weekend rituals. Afternoon tea is served every Saturday and Sunday from 3 p.m., featuring a selection of pastries and a variety of teas. A relaxed Sunday Brunch takes place each Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. in Le Joy’s library-styled dining room. To reserve a table and experience an elegant meal in the warmth of an igloo, guests are encouraged to make a reservation through the restaurant’s booking page.
