Cape Cod’s renowned Chatham Bars Inn is presenting its Enriching EsCAPES series, offering two curated weekend getaways that showcase the best of the Cape this spring.
The Fine Art Weekend runs April 17–19 and begins with an evening cocktail reception and a live painting demonstration by award-winning Cape Cod acrylic artist Odin Smith. After a relaxed breakfast on Saturday, guests will attend a three-hour painting workshop at the Chatham Creative Arts Center, where Smith teaches color mixing, brush techniques and provides individualized instruction.
Saturday afternoon offers options to expand creative skills: guests can choose a jewelry-making class led by metalsmith Anne Hanson, who works in mixed metals, and then join a guided nature walk to enjoy the local landscape.
Sunday is reserved for relaxation, with access to the resort’s private beach, sea-inspired spa treatments and other on-site amenities. Rates for the Fine Art Weekend begin at $399 per night.
The Farm To Fork Weekend takes place May 15–17 and is tailored for gardeners and food lovers. Guests receive a welcome amenity upon arrival Friday evening and can enjoy the property at their leisure into Saturday morning.
Saturday’s program features a farm tour and hands-on workshop led by the resort’s farm manager, Josh Schiff. Acquired by the resort in 2012, the on-site farm supplies the majority of produce for the Inn’s restaurants using organic growing methods. Saturday night culminates with a harvest dinner at STARS hosted by Schiff, including thoughtfully paired wines.
Two-night rates for the Farm To Fork Weekend start at $499 per night.
A member of The Leading Hotels of the World, Chatham Bars Inn completed a $100-million renovation that refreshed all 217 individually styled guestrooms and public spaces. The property fronts a private quarter-mile beach and is within easy walking distance of Chatham, one of Cape Cod’s most historic and picturesque villages.
