Inconvenient gym hours and the hassle of dressing and leaving your room to exercise may soon be things of the past. In May, Hilton Hotels introduced a program called Five Feet to Fitness at two of its properties, offering select guestrooms equipped with compact exercise setups so travelers can work out without leaving their rooms.
The fitness corner fits neatly into a portion of the guestroom and includes a Wattbike stationary bike, an exercise ball, and a GYM RAX training system with TRX suspension bands and guided video workouts. The layout is designed to make effective workouts possible in a small footprint while keeping equipment user-friendly and accessible.
Guests who choose a room outfitted with this setup pay an additional nightly fee for the in-room fitness amenities. When not exercising, the room’s offerings include protein bars, sports drinks, and a comfortable meditation chair for recovery and relaxation.
Five Feet to Fitness is currently available at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner in Virginia and Parc 55 in San Francisco. The program reflects a growing trend in hospitality toward personalized wellness options that accommodate guests’ desire to maintain fitness routines while traveling.
