Royal Caribbean Expands Fleet With New Ships and Itineraries

Royal Caribbean has ordered a new Quantum-class ship, bringing its Quantum fleet to five vessels. This announcement follows the recent debut of Anthem of the Seas, which has arrived in New York Harbor and will be based year-round at Cape Liberty Cruise Port. The ship is designed to elevate the cruise experience with cutting-edge entertainment, adventure options, and onboard technology.

Among the standout features on board are the North Star, a glass observation capsule that rises high above the ocean for panoramic views; RipCord by iFly, offering the first skydiving simulation at sea; and SeaPlex, the largest indoor activity area on a cruise ship, featuring attractions such as bumper cars, a trapeze school, and roller skating.

Anthem of the Seas will operate itineraries across the Caribbean, visiting destinations including The Bahamas, Jamaica, Haiti, Grand Cayman, Mexico, Honduras, Puerto Rico, St. Kitts, Barbados, Martinique, and St. Maarten. Sailings will range from seven to twelve nights, providing a variety of options for travelers seeking both short getaways and longer voyages.
