Marriott has unveiled the refreshed Tampa Marriott Westshore Hotel, showcasing redesigned public areas, an updated lobby, 310 renovated guestrooms and 18 modern meeting spaces. The renovation is aimed at business travelers, millennials and tech-savvy guests who seek convenience and contemporary design.
“We understand our guests lead fast-paced lives, and we redesigned our property with that in mind, providing forward-thinking, aesthetically pleasing spaces that help foster their inventive nature,” said Tina Smith, general manager of Tampa Marriott Westshore. The hotel emphasizes streamlined service and digital tools that give guests greater control over their stay.
Technology upgrades include in-room entertainment platforms that let guests sign in to their own Netflix and Hulu accounts, mobile messaging for direct requests to hotel staff, and mobile check-in and check-out options. Free high-speed WiFi and wireless charging stations are available throughout public areas, supporting productivity for business travelers and convenience for leisure guests.
The hotel’s 18 “Next Gen” meeting spaces are designed for flexibility and modern collaboration. Features such as pivoting walls, movable partitions and modular furniture allow groups to customize layouts for a range of events—from small breakout sessions to larger conferences—while maintaining a contemporary, professional atmosphere.
Guestrooms were reimagined with attention to comfort and functionality, offering updated furnishings, work-friendly layouts and integrated technology to support both relaxation and productivity. Public spaces and the lobby were refreshed to create welcoming environments for casual meetings, remote work and socializing.
By combining thoughtful design, technology-forward amenities and adaptable meeting facilities, the Tampa Marriott Westshore aims to meet the needs of a diverse mix of travelers who prioritize efficiency, connectivity and comfortable, modern surroundings during their stay.
