Shoppers have reason to celebrate: a collection of Los Angeles’ best local retailers, restaurants and personal-service providers is scheduled to open at The Village at Westfield Topanga in fall 2015.
Westfield Topanga already hosts a strong mix of stores in the Valley, including luxury names such as Neiman Marcus, Cartier, Gucci and Nordstrom. The new open-air Village will give visitors easy access to an inviting outdoor environment planted with mature California sycamores, olive trees and native landscaping. The Village will include more than 15 al fresco dining options and a curated selection of some of the city’s most sought-after local retailers.
“Westfield Topanga is already one of Los Angeles’s strongest shopping destinations with everything from Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Macy’s and Target to Urban Outfitters and Free People. With The Village we want to complement that offering and provide a location that would draw from LA’s hip street retail to give our shoppers a destination like no other. The blend of world class shopping with high end home furnishings, celebrity driven retail concepts, restaurants and select personal services has never really existed before,” said Larry Green, senior vice president of development, Westfield.
Beyond retail, The Village will include a range of fitness, lifestyle and health options to serve local shoppers and visitors. Confirmed tenants include YogaWorks, Flywheel, Karina Smirnoff Dance Studio, UCLA Health and a 24 Hour Fitness Super Sport, creating a diverse mix of services that support active, wellness-minded lifestyles.
When The Village opens, it will join Westfield Topanga and the neighboring Promenade to create a retail destination of more than 300 tenants. The combined center is projected to attract roughly 20 million visits annually and generate more than $1.3 billion in yearly sales, positioning the area among the top retail districts in the nation.
