ME Mallorca, a luxury lifestyle hotel, re-opened for its summer season in the Balearic Islands with a fresh programme of music, fitness and culinary experiences.
Set on one of Mallorca’s beaches and just 25 minutes from central Palma, ME Mallorca provides a relaxed retreat near Calvià. The hotel has partnered with Suburban Music to present guest sessions featuring leading DJs, while collaborations with Body Active Palma offer a wide range of fitness classes—from yoga on the beach to Pilates, CrossFit and electrostimulation training.
The property recently unveiled Barbarossa, a new pool bar and restaurant that blends refined dining with casual options such as authentic Italian pizza and a selection of premium steaks. Barbarossa is open to hotel guests as well as locals and other visitors. On Pez Playa beach, guests can also enjoy beachside bites including salads, sandwiches and detox juices.
ME Mallorca features 256 spacious rooms, including 34 ME+ suites and the signature Suite ME, many with striking seafront views. Ground-floor suites offer private gardens with direct access to the pool, while all rooms follow a clean, minimalist aesthetic with contemporary touches such as mood lighting, luxury rain showers and freestanding bathtubs.
The hotel’s summer season runs from April through October, with rates starting around $250.
This year the ME by Meliá brand marks its tenth anniversary with events across its properties. Celebrations began in March with rooftop parties at ME Miami during Miami Music Week and continued in April with festivities at ME Madrid’s newly renovated Radio Rooftop Bar.
To commemorate the milestone, ME Mallorca will host a series of summer parties under the #10YearsofME banner. The programme started on June 10 and includes a Secret Sundaze event on July 1 featuring underground electronic DJ Patrice Scott, followed by a performance from London-based indie electro-pop band Monarchy on August 5.
The brand remains in expansion mode, announcing openings in key markets including ME Dubai and ME Sitges as part of its ongoing growth strategy.
