Luxury New Development Targets Palm Beach Buyers

A new luxury boutique hotel arrived on Sunset Avenue in Palm Beach in late 2019. White Elephant Palm Beach occupies the historic 1920s Bradley Park Hotel, transformed through a careful renovation into one of the town’s most refined properties.

Douglass Karp, president and property developer at New England Development, described the project as an effort to blend a distinct hospitality vision with the relaxed elegance that defines Palm Beach. He emphasized a focus on attentive service while honoring the long tradition of hospitality in this notable resort destination.

The hotel features 32 guestrooms, made up of 13 standard rooms and 19 suites. Design favors a residential feel, with outdoor living areas and thoughtful landscaping creating a calm, home-like atmosphere. Interior details include hardwood floors, woven rugs and a soft neutral palette that enhances natural light and coastal breezes. Two penthouses provide expanded living spaces with full kitchens and large terraces, ideal for extended stays or entertaining.

Public and social spaces are designed to encourage gathering and relaxation. Guests can enjoy an intimate outdoor courtyard and a signature restaurant that complements the hotel’s casual yet polished character.

Located fewer than two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean, many rooms offer coastal views. The hotel sits a block from Palm Beach’s original Main Street, giving easy access to shops and local attractions, while Bradley Park borders the property and serves as an expansive, verdant lawn for quiet strolls or outdoor events.

White Elephant Palm Beach blends historic charm with contemporary comforts, delivering a boutique experience aimed at travelers seeking understated luxury and a relaxed, residential atmosphere close to the ocean and downtown Palm Beach.
