Sherry‑Netherland Teams Up With BarkBox to Pamper Hotel Dogs

The iconic Sherry-Netherland Hotel, located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 59th Street in New York City, partnered with BarkBox to create the “Lap of Luxury Pooch” package for guests traveling with dogs. Available through 2016 while supplies last, the package includes a BarkBox filled with all-natural treats and durable toys plus a gift certificate for a complimentary month of the BarkBox subscription service. Guests who reserve the package will find dog bowls, a comfortable dog bed, and natural treats waiting in the room upon arrival.

To make exploring the city easier, the hotel can arrange dog-walking services through the front desk so owners can enjoy New York without worrying about their pet’s care. The Sherry-Netherland is a New York classic known for attentive service and elegant accommodations. Its 50 rooms and suites—many with Central Park views—are individually decorated and retain original architectural details, including decorative fireplaces, crown moldings, and high ceilings.

Rates for stays with a dog begin at $699 per night, subject to availability. BarkBox amenities are included while supplies last.
