IHG recently opened its first boutique hotel in Frisco, Texas: Hotel INDIGO Frisco. Part of the Hotel INDIGO brand, the property is designed to reflect the character of its surroundings, drawing inspiration from Frisco’s agricultural roots and its railroad heritage. Thoughtful historical touches and distinctive accents give the hotel a strong sense of place.
Conveniently located, Hotel INDIGO Frisco sits close to Frisco’s extensive walking and biking trails, multiple water features, and one of the city’s iconic bridges. It is also directly across from the Frisco Convention Center and Dr. Pepper Arena, making it a practical choice for both business and leisure travelers attending events in the area.
“In bringing this boutique hotel to Frisco, our mission was to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience for all of our guests. We celebrate the stories, people and neighborhood that make us who we are. We truly feel that our hotel guests are part of our neighborhood and contribute to our story and our community,” said Brian Harris, general manager of Hotel INDIGO Frisco.
The hotel features 110 guestrooms and offers a range of amenities, including flexible meeting space, on-site parking, dining options, and a bar and lounge. The property is pet-friendly, catering to travelers who wish to bring their companion animals.
Jeremy Day, vice president of hotel and golf operations at KPartners Hotel Management, which partnered on the property, emphasized the hotel’s local focus: “The inclusion of the Hotel INDIGO Frisco is a wonderful tribute to the generations who contributed to the history and heritage of Frisco. We are grateful to be included with the other Hotel INDIGO’s across our brand that similarly represent and respect America’s history while dynamically meeting the needs of today’s explorative travelers and local communities.”
Hotel INDIGO is an expanding lifestyle brand within IHG’s portfolio. Currently there are dozens of Hotel INDIGO properties worldwide, with many additional locations planned in the coming years as the brand continues to grow and introduce more locally inspired boutique hotels.
