Lufthansa Introduces New First Class Suite+ with Luxury Upgrades

Lufthansa has revealed its new first-class experience, the Suite Plus: a private double cabin featuring ceiling-high walls, a closable door, a large table and two wide seats that convert into a comfortable double bed.

The Suite Plus is designed for personal comfort and convenience. Seats nearly one meter wide offer heating and cooling options, and passengers can connect their mobile devices to the inflight entertainment system. A dedicated wardrobe provides generous storage, and a flexible gourmet menu is available to be served at the passenger’s preferred time.

“Every guest has their own understanding of premium, which is why we focus on maximum individuality and exclusivity. The First Class Suite Plus conveys the feeling of privacy and individuality similar to a hotel room – only at an altitude of eleven kilometers,” said Jens Ritter, CEO of Lufthansa Airlines, at the Suite Plus launch in Berlin on Feb. 28. “The Allegris range promises individuality, exclusivity, and premium service along the entire travel chain.”

The Suite Plus is part of Lufthansa Allegris, the carrier’s comprehensive new long-haul product that spans first, business, premium economy and economy classes. Introduced with newly delivered Airbus A350 aircraft, Allegris represents a 2.5 billion euro investment and is the largest product and service initiative in Lufthansa Group history. The program accompanies the rollout of more than 80 new Lufthansa aircraft, bringing a refreshed and consistent experience across the long-haul fleet.

With an emphasis on privacy, tailored comfort and modern amenities, the Suite Plus aims to redefine first-class travel by combining the seclusion of a private room with the service standards expected on long-haul flights.
