Air Canada Launches Maple Leaf Lounge Express for Faster Airport Travel

Air Canada has opened a new Maple Leaf Lounge Express at Toronto Pearson International Airport’s Terminal 1, offering travelers bound for the United States a convenient, comfortable place to relax before departure. The lounge is available to business-class passengers as well as Altitude and Star Alliance Gold members.

The compact lounge seats up to 50 guests and is designed for quick, pleasant stays. Amenities include a self-serve bar stocked with wines, specialty coffee, and light snacks, along with complimentary Wi‑Fi. The space is intended to provide a calm environment for guests to work or unwind without delaying their connection.

Located just steps from the Air Canada commuter gates, Maple Leaf Lounge Express is positioned for travelers who need a short, high-quality layover experience. Guests are greeted by a premium agent at entry to ensure a smooth, welcoming start to their time in the lounge.

“We are pleased to welcome Air Canada and Star Alliance customers traveling to the United States with our new Maple Leaf Lounge Express,” said Andrew Yiu, vice president, product, Air Canada. “This specially designed space enhances the overall travel experience for our premium customers and reflects our commitment to a superior trans-border product. Its proximity to the commuter gates makes it easy for travelers to enjoy comfort on the go before flying to the U.S.”

The Maple Leaf Lounge Express is tailored to those who value efficiency and comfort. With seating for work and relaxation, quick access to refreshments, and reliable connectivity, the lounge offers a streamlined pre-flight option for eligible passengers departing from Terminal 1.
