The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco marks its 35th anniversary this spring with a series of coral-themed culinary events, signature cocktails, artistic collaborations and a seasonal stay package.
Perched on Nob Hill, the hotel welcomes guests and locals to celebrate three and a half decades of hospitality with the following offerings:

35th Anniversary Coral Tea
The hotel’s elevated afternoon tea channels a coral palette and marine inspiration. The experience begins with a Veuve Clicquot Champagne toast and continues with a premium tea service that pairs savory bites and confections crafted for the occasion.
Savory Tea Menu:
- Duck salad sandwich
- Smoked salmon sandwich
- French-style ham with piccalilli
- Cucumber and lemon sandwich
- Chawanmushi
Sweet Tea Menu:
- Passionfruit, orange and guava mousse
- Mango raspberry tea cake
- Ube cheesecake
- Tropical Madeleine shaped like a seashell
- Tahitian vanilla bean scones
On March 21, guests attending the Coral Tea can reserve a live portrait session with fashion illustrator Meagan Morrison (@TravelWriteDraw), who creates hand-drawn portraits inspired by destinations. Portraits are available by reservation for one adult and up to two children per illustration, subject to availability. A portion of proceeds supports the Coral Reef Alliance and its global coral conservation work.

Coral-Inspired Cocktails in The Lounge
From March 21 through May 31, The Lounge will feature three coral-hued cocktails crafted for the anniversary:
- The Coral: Ketel One Peach & Orange Blossom Vodka, Aperol, lime juice, simple syrup
- Spring Season: Condesa prickly pear gin, green chartreuse, Chambord, lemon juice, simple syrup, fee foam, powdered raspberry
- Mexican Madras: Casa Dragones Blanco with freshly squeezed orange, cranberry and lime juices
Coral Anniversary Spring Offer
The seasonal Coral Anniversary Spring offer—available March 21–May 31—includes accommodations in a guestroom or suite and a curated San Francisco shopping experience with Neiman Marcus. The package details include Champagne and macarons on arrival, a spring fashion consultation, a $50 daily food and beverage credit, and daily valet parking. A portion of the package proceeds will benefit the Coral Reef Alliance.
