Kimpton has introduced “Hygge Meetings,” an optional meeting amenity available at select New York properties through the end of the year.

Hygge Meetings is available at all three Kimpton locations in Manhattan: Kimpton Hotel Eventi, Kimpton Ink48 Hotel and Kimpton Muse Hotel. The offering is tailored for small groups and is built around the Danish idea of hygge, which emphasizes presence, comfort and a gentle focus on mental and emotional wellbeing.

The concept of hygge has gained traction in the U.S. in recent years, particularly among communities and professionals interested in self-care, stress reduction and mindful work practices. Hygge Meetings adapts those principles to the business environment with amenities intended to reduce stress, encourage focus and make the meeting experience more restorative.

Elements included with Hygge Meetings are thoughtfully chosen to create a relaxed, productive atmosphere in the meeting space. Meeting rooms are scented with a blend of essential oils selected to stimulate mental activity and clarity. A curated selection of soothing teas is provided to support calm and alertness. Music for the meeting is taken from a playlist assembled by Lauren Bucherie, Kimpton’s director of music, designed to complement concentration and comfort without distracting participants.

Additional touches include seasonal floral arrangements that add warmth and visual calm to the room, and pashminas available for guests to use for added physical comfort. Every component of the Hygge Meetings package can be customized by event planners to suit the needs and preferences of their group, allowing adjustments to scent intensity, tea choices, musical selections and floral styling.

Hygge Meetings is priced from $50 per meeting, with a minimum booking for groups of four people. The package is intended as an add-on to standard meeting room rentals and can be requested when booking meetings at the participating Kimpton New York City hotels.
