Book Private Jet Seats with BlackJet: Pay-Per-Seat Private Flights

BlackJet, a company that sells private-jet seats, has launched a new service between Los Angeles and San Francisco that lets travelers book a private-jet experience for $1,500 per seat—an option that would typically cost around $8,000 to charter the entire aircraft. The route gives frequent flyers a convenient, premium alternative to first class for travel between the two California cities.

The San Francisco–Los Angeles service complements BlackJet’s existing flights connecting each city with Las Vegas. Demand for the new route exceeded expectations: all available seats were booked through February 5 shortly after the launch.

“BlackJet members indicated strong demand for the additional service between Los Angeles and San Francisco,” said Dean Rotchin, CEO of BlackJet. “It’s one of the top markets for both airline first class and private-jet travel in the United States. Our members want the reliability and convenience of flying private jets on this route, but prefer to pay only for the seats they need instead of chartering an entire aircraft.”

BlackJet’s booking platform uses proprietary technology to schedule flights and departure times based on customer demand rather than a fixed published timetable. This flexible approach allows the service to respond to passenger needs instead of forcing customers to fit into a preset schedule.

By offering per-seat pricing on private jets and dynamically setting flights according to demand, BlackJet aims to make private aviation more accessible and practical for short-haul business and leisure travelers between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
