Moonlight Snowshoe Tours & Winter Activities at Omni Mount Washington Resort

Winter has arrived in New Hampshire at Omni Mount Washington Resort and Bretton Woods. Beyond skiing and other snow sports, visitors can enjoy sleigh rides, tubing, canopy tours and scenic gondola excursions.

New this season at Bretton Woods is a PistenBully 400 alpine grooming machine to improve trail conditions. The resort also added additional HKD tower guns to enhance snowmaking coverage on Fabyan’s Express. A new RFID ticketing system allows guests to buy day tickets online and retrieve them at self-service pick-up boxes throughout the Base Lodge.

“We are looking forward to another unforgettable winter season at Omni Mount Washington Resort and welcoming back both longtime guests and newcomers to the resort,” said Steve Janicek, managing director of Omni Mount Washington Resort. “Along with staples such as our year-round canopy tour, gondola rides and skiing at Bretton Woods, we’re excited to bring back Moonlit Snowshoe Tours as part of our monthly Moonlight Fun Nights. These evenings offer a unique way to enjoy winter favorites—tubing, s’mores by the fire, and après activities at the Nordic Center. With abundant outdoor recreation, diverse dining, and our 25,000-square-foot spa, there’s something for everyone at Omni Mount Washington Resort.”

This 15-kilometer Nordic ski event takes place on the Ammonoosuc trail network as part of the ZAK Cup Series.

This winter skiers can also take advantage of a Stay Here, Ski Free offer. Available midweek during non-holiday periods at Omni Mount Washington Hotel and Omni Bretton Arms Inn, guests who stay a minimum of two nights receive two Bretton Woods lift tickets or Nordic trail passes for each night of their stay.
