Cathay Pacific now allows travelers to purchase one-time access to select airport lounges. Under the offer, Marco Polo Club members can pay HK$600 (about $75) per person for lounge entry at Manila (MNL), Melbourne (MEL) and Vancouver (YVR).
This move places Cathay Pacific among a small group of carriers offering paid lounge access. Earlier, Emirates began selling access to some of its lounges in Dubai (DXB) and later expanded the option to London Heathrow (LHR) and Gatwick (LGW).
The offer applies to three specific Cathay Pacific lounges: the Manila Cathay Pacific Lounge near Gate 114 at Ninoy Aquino International Airport; the Cathay Pacific Business Class Lounge at Melbourne Airport’s Terminal 2; and the Cathay Pacific Lounge by Gate D67 at Vancouver International Airport.
The promotion is temporary and is available only through March 31, 2019.
Access is permitted only on the travel day and only for passengers flying on a Cathay Pacific or Cathay Dragon–operated flight. The fee covers individual travelers and can be purchased for travel companions, friends or family members, with HK$600 charged per person.
Terms and availability may vary by location and are subject to Cathay Pacific’s policies. Travelers should check lounge capacity and eligibility on the day of travel to confirm entry conditions and any additional requirements.
