A special guest of honor will attend the inaugural Asia Harley Days. Bill Davidson, great-grandson of Harley-Davidson co-founder William A. Davidson, will be present to officiate the celebration taking place Sept. 14–16 in Kuala Lumpur.
“Asia Harley Days is the first event of its kind in Southeast Asia,” said Davidson, who serves as vice president of the Harley-Davidson Museum. “This event demonstrates Harley-Davidson’s commitment to connect with our riders and fans across the region.”
Davidson added that Malaysia’s diverse, cosmopolitan character makes it an ideal setting for the event and encouraged enthusiasts and newcomers alike to attend and share in the occasion.
Scheduled to coincide with Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary, Asia Harley Days will feature a range of activities designed for motorcycle fans and the general public. A major highlight is the Harley-Davidson Bike Parade, which is expected to bring thousands of riders through the streets of Kuala Lumpur. The parade will be accompanied by live entertainment, displays from regional and international vendors, and curated exhibitions that showcase the brand’s history and current models.
Beyond the city festivities, the weekend program includes organized rides and touring options for participants who want to explore Malaysia by motorcycle. Featured routes include a scenic riding tour from Kuala Lumpur to Terengganu and Penang, offering varied landscapes and cultural stops along the way. These escorted rides are intended to appeal to veteran riders who want a long-distance experience as well as to newer riders looking for guided, social riding opportunities.
The event program is designed to engage a broad audience. Exhibitions will present both vintage and modern Harley-Davidson motorcycles, while product displays and vendor booths will give attendees a chance to learn about accessories, gear and motorcycle maintenance. Live music and stage performances will provide entertainment throughout the weekend, and meet-and-greet sessions are planned so fans can interact with club communities and brand representatives.
Organizers aim to make Asia Harley Days a community-focused event that celebrates motorcycle culture while promoting safety, responsible riding and local tourism. Riders participating in group events will be briefed on safety guidelines and route logistics, ensuring an organized, enjoyable experience for both participants and local residents.
Local businesses and tourism partners are expected to benefit from the influx of visitors during the multi-day celebration. Hotels, restaurants and attractions in Kuala Lumpur, Terengganu and Penang anticipate increased interest from domestic and international attendees using the event as an opportunity to explore Malaysia’s urban and coastal destinations.
Asia Harley Days represents an effort to bring together the regional motorcycle community, celebrate a major milestone for Harley-Davidson, and introduce the brand to new audiences in Southeast Asia. Whether attending the parade in Kuala Lumpur, visiting exhibitions, enjoying live performances, or joining the touring rides, participants can expect a packed schedule of motorcycle-related activities and cultural experiences.
