The Langham Huntington, Pasadena is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month through its “Think Pink” initiative. A portion of proceeds from treatments at the Chuan Spa and ticketed wellness events will benefit City of Hope’s women’s cancer programs. Throughout October, the Chuan Spa hosts complimentary wellness sessions (donations suggested) and provides free self-exam cards for women and men. Guests can also make donations at spa reception via QR code to support City of Hope.
The Loma de Vida Spa at La Cantera Resort & Spa
Located just outside San Antonio in Texas Hill Country, La Cantera Resort & Spa features a seasonal Raspberry Rose sugar scrub (60 minutes) served with a sparkling rosé or pink mocktail. Guests may enhance the treatment with a signature manicure or pedicure and the Knesko Rose Quartz Antioxidant Mask. A portion of proceeds from each pink service supports WINGS, a program that provides health care services for women with breast cancer. In addition, BeautyBio founder Jamie O’Banion hosts a beauty-secrets demonstration on Oct. 8, with $5 from each admission benefitting WINGS.

Nicknamed the Pink Palace, The Don CeSar is staging a Blossoms of Hope floral workshop in collaboration with The Roaming Petal to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Oct. 21 workshop, open to both guests and locals, combines floral design with education and community support; part of the proceeds will benefit Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. The Don CeSar’s Spa Oceana also offers an indulgent Day of Indulgence experience, a fitting addition for an October girls’ getaway.

The Spa at Naples Grande is offering a lineup of pink-themed services in October to support the Bosom Buddies Breast Cancer Support Organization. For local groups, the spa offers a Fall into Serenity group experience for four to eight guests. Visitors who wear pink during any October service are entered to win a pink Dermaflash facial device.
