Autograph Collection Expands in U.K. with Third Property

Marriott International’s Autograph Collection, a portfolio of independent luxury hotels, has expanded in the United Kingdom with the addition of St. Ermin’s Hotel in London. Situated in the Westminster district, St. Ermin’s offers 331 rooms and occupies a building that was originally a Victorian block of apartments before being converted into a hotel in 1899. Previously part of Accor’s MGallery collection, the property recently completed a two-year renovation that concluded last year.

The introduction of St. Ermin’s marks the Autograph Collection’s third UK property, following the recent openings of Threadneedles in London, a 74-room hotel, and The Glasshouse in Edinburgh. With this addition, the Autograph Collection strengthens its presence in key British destinations, bringing distinct, independently styled luxury accommodations under the Marriott umbrella.

St. Ermin’s combines historical character with contemporary updates from its renovation, aiming to offer guests a blend of period charm and modern amenities. Located near many of London’s major sites and transport connections, the hotel is positioned to appeal to both leisure and business travelers seeking a centrally located, boutique experience within the Autograph Collection brand.

The Autograph Collection continues to grow by incorporating independently managed hotels with unique identities, and the inclusion of St. Ermin’s underscores Marriott’s strategy of expanding its portfolio through distinctive, locally rooted properties in prominent urban locations.
