World of Hyatt has announced a new partnership with Lindblad Expeditions, enabling members to both earn and redeem World of Hyatt points on expedition cruises. This collaboration expands travel options for members who seek immersive, educational and nature-focused journeys.
According to World of Hyatt, Lindblad Expeditions aligns with its wellbeing pillars — feel, fuel and function — by offering adventure experiences and meaningful encounters with the natural world. These expeditions are presented as opportunities for members to gain fresh perspectives, deepen wellbeing and engage with rare, remote environments.
Under the new arrangement, members earn five base World of Hyatt points per $1 spent on eligible Lindblad Expeditions purchases, excluding incidental charges. In addition to base points, members receive elite-tier bonus points where applicable. Points earned can be redeemed for complimentary expedition bookings, providing a tangible loyalty benefit for those who prefer active, exploratory travel.
Members also receive a $250 onboard credit to use toward amenities such as spa services, beverages, classes and similar offerings during their expedition. Eligible expedition nights may count toward elite-tier qualifying night credits, helping members progress within the World of Hyatt program while traveling on Lindblad voyages.
“Our members tell us they want to return from a trip having experienced something new. They see traveling as a way to experience other people, places and cultures and desire authentic, expansive and real-world experiences,” said Amy Weinberg, senior vice president, World of Hyatt. “Through this new relationship with Lindblad Expeditions, World of Hyatt members will soon be able to enjoy even more personalized adventures and distinct, educational experiences that satisfy their desire to experience something new while enhancing their wellbeing and providing opportunities to discover rare parts of the planet — all while being specially rewarded with World of Hyatt loyalty benefits.”
Philip Auerbach, chief commercial officer at Lindblad Expeditions, emphasized the synergy between the two brands and the company’s long history of exploration. “Hyatt has long been known as one of the most innovative companies in the hospitality industry, and we are thrilled to be collaborating with them and to be able to offer World of Hyatt members the opportunity to travel to some of the world’s most pristine and remote geographies,” he said. He noted Lindblad’s pioneering role in taking travelers to destinations such as Antarctica, the Galapagos and the Northwest Passage, and highlighted the company’s mission to foster stewardship by exposing people to the wonders of those places.
The partnership offers World of Hyatt members a way to combine hotel loyalty benefits with expedition travel, giving members the chance to earn points, enjoy onboard credits and accrue qualifying nights while exploring destinations that emphasize conservation, discovery and immersive learning experiences.
