Wyndham Hotel Group will open its first hotel in the United Arab Emirates in 2016 with the launch of the Wyndham Dubai Marina. The new property will offer 497 guestrooms and a range of facilities designed for both leisure and business travelers.
The Wyndham Dubai Marina will include approximately 6,800 square feet of food and beverage and meeting space, allowing for flexible event layouts and a variety of dining options. Guests will also have access to nearly 2,500 square feet of spa and leisure facilities. These wellness amenities will feature a fully equipped fitness center and an outdoor swimming pool complete with a pool bar, providing a relaxed atmosphere for guests to unwind.
Rui Barros, senior vice president and managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, commented on the expansion: “We’re very excited to be bringing our namesake Wyndham Hotels and Resorts brand to Dubai, following its successful introduction to the region through the spectacular Wyndham Grand Regency Doha.” The Dubai Marina opening represents a strategic step in Wyndham’s growth across the Middle East, reinforcing the brand’s presence in a key international destination.
Located in one of Dubai’s most dynamic waterfront neighborhoods, the Wyndham Dubai Marina will cater to travelers seeking convenient access to local attractions, dining, shopping and business districts. The sizable meeting and dining areas position the hotel as an attractive venue for corporate events and social gatherings, while the leisure facilities support guests looking for rest and recreation.
By combining a large room inventory with dedicated event and wellness spaces, the Wyndham Dubai Marina aims to meet the needs of diverse guests, from short-stay tourists to extended-stay business visitors. Its arrival in 2016 will mark Wyndham Hotel Group’s entry into the UAE market under its flagship Wyndham Hotels and Resorts brand, building on the company’s regional momentum.
