Wow air is launching new service to Delhi (DEL) from nine U.S. cities beginning in December. Fares advertised start as low as $199 one-way and include a stopover in the carrier’s Reykjavik hub in Iceland.
As a low-cost carrier, Wow air offers very low base fares but applies additional fees and charges for many services. Passengers should expect that the final ticket price will often be higher than the initial fare once add-ons such as seat selection, baggage and onboard services are included.
The airline has recently introduced a premium cabin designed for travelers who want more comfort and convenience. That premium option includes seats with at least 37 inches of legroom, priority boarding and expedited security processing where available, an in-flight meal and beverages, two checked bags plus one carry-on, and flexible rebooking without penalties.
The new nonstop or single-stop itineraries to Delhi will be offered from the following U.S. airports: Newark (EWR), Boston (BOS), Baltimore (BWI), Chicago O’Hare (ORD), Pittsburgh (PIT), Detroit (DTW), San Francisco (SFO), Los Angeles (LAX) and St. Louis (STL). Availability, schedules and exact pricing will vary by route and travel dates.
Travelers planning to fly on Wow air should review the fare rules and baggage allowances carefully at booking, since the low base fare often does not include services many passengers expect. Comparing the total price after adding required and optional extras will help ensure you select the best value for your trip to Delhi.
