Windstar Cruises introduces Quick Getaways, a new collection of three- to five-night European yacht voyages launching in spring 2026. With nine departure dates and five distinct itineraries, these short cruises visit sights many larger ships miss.
“These new sailings are designed for spontaneity and simplicity,” said Jess Peterson, director of itinerary planning at Windstar Cruises. “They’re the perfect way to experience the Windstar style of travel—especially if you’re already traveling for work or leisure in Europe. With overnight flights from the U.S. East Coast, you can be sailing beneath Tower Bridge or enjoying wine in Southern France with minimal jet lag and maximum time onshore.”
These compact itineraries work well as weekend escapes, quick vacations, or additions to business trips and longer land-based journeys. Depart overnight from the East Coast and board the yacht the same day in Europe for efficient, relaxed travel.
