The Cotswolds’ Ellenborough Park is offering a delightfully British experience: a Wimbledon-themed Afternoon Tea available through July 13. If you can’t secure tickets for Centre Court, enjoy the atmosphere instead at this 15th-century manor house, now a 61-room hotel set in the countryside.
The tennis-inspired menu opens with a selection of delicate finger sandwiches, including smoked salmon with dill crème fraîche, classic egg and cress, and cucumber with cream cheese. Seasonal savory options continue with warm Middle White pork sausage rolls and a sun-dried tomato, basil and mozzarella quiche.

The experience continues with freshly baked scones served with rich clotted cream and preserves, accompanied by an assortment of miniature cakes and elegant desserts. Guests may choose chilled Champagne or a selection from a carefully curated tea collection while taking in views of the rolling Cotswold countryside.
The Wimbledon Afternoon Tea is priced from $52 per person and is available during Wimbledon, served from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The full menu is provided by the hotel for reference.
