Waldorf Astoria Osaka Opens Jazz-Age Cocktail Bar with Glamour

Waldorf Astoria Osaka in Osaka, Japan, which opened this year, recently introduced Canes & Tales, an intimate cocktail bar inspired by the golden age of jazz.

The bar features a long, elegant counter trimmed in green, red and gold, celebrating Waldorf Astoria’s storied cocktail legacy with selections drawn from the Waldorf Astoria Bar Book. Menus at Canes & Tales are narrative-driven: the current menu takes inspiration from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Tales of the Jazz Age. Each of the 11 short stories is reinterpreted as a cocktail, capturing an era of refined glamour, daring romance and indulgent craft.
