Waldorf Astoria Opens New Luxury Hotels Worldwide

The Waldorf Astoria brand has expanded with the opening of two new hotels on opposite sides of the globe.

Marking the brand’s debut in Southeast Asia, The Waldorf Astoria Bangkok offers 171 residential-style rooms and suites. The 60-story building reflects the vision and attention to detail of its architect, with interiors and layouts designed to feel like private urban residences.

Guests at the Bangkok property will find a variety of venues for gatherings and celebrations. A ballroom located on the 10th floor provides an elegant setting for weddings, conventions, meetings, and special events. Dining is a highlight as well, with three distinctive restaurants that showcase different culinary approaches and flavors to suit varied tastes.

In the United States, the brand’s newest addition on the Las Vegas Strip, Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, brings luxury hospitality to the city with 392 guestrooms and 225 branded residences. The hotel’s accommodations include 55 suites and three presidential suites, designed to provide privacy and high-end comfort for both short stays and extended visits.

Dining options at the Las Vegas property are diverse, with multiple culinary concepts available to satisfy discerning guests. For relaxation and wellness, the resort features a 27,000-square-foot spa along with a pool and comprehensive amenities focused on personal care and rejuvenation. The property also offers 12,000 square feet of event space suitable for meetings, social functions, and private gatherings.

Both openings reflect The Waldorf Astoria’s emphasis on timeless design, thoughtful service, and curated experiences—bringing the brand’s signature luxury to new markets while offering locally inspired touches in each destination.
