Virgin Hotels Opens in San Francisco — Arrival Set for 2017

Virgin Hotels has announced plans for a new property in San Francisco, California. Developed by Paradigm Hotels Group and managed by Virgin Hotels, the new hotel is scheduled to open this summer.

The build will include 196 Chambers and Grand Chamber Suites, multiple dining outlets, dedicated meeting spaces and a rooftop bar, designed to serve both business and leisure travelers.

“As a top domestic and international travel hub for both business and leisure alike, San Francisco is an ideal location for our next Virgin Hotel,” said Raul Leal, chief executive officer of Virgin Hotels.

Located on Fourth Street in the city’s South of Market neighborhood, the hotel places guests within easy reach of major local attractions and neighborhoods. Although new to the city’s hotel landscape, the property is already positioned to stand out with a design and service model that appeals to tech-savvy, style-conscious travelers familiar with the Virgin brand.

Following the brand’s proven concept, Virgin Hotel San Francisco will include signature spaces such as The Commons Club and will feature an on-site coffee shop similar to the Chicago property.

Virgin Hotels also has additional projects underway, with two properties currently under construction in Dallas and New York City, and planned openings in New Orleans, Silicon Valley, Nashville and Palm Springs.
