Ventura County Trolley Cuts Downtown-to-Harbor Travel Time

Debuting July 3, Ventura County’s Downtown–Harbor Trolley answers a growing need for convenient, easy-access public transit. This complimentary service makes traveling between downtown Ventura, the beaches and Ventura Harbor Village simple and stress-free.

The trolley travels the route between the historic downtown area and Ventura Harbor Village, with stops at coastal hotels, the Rhumb Line Restaurant and other participating businesses. For added flexibility, the trolley will also make on-demand flag stops when safe and appropriate.

Licensed, uniformed trolley drivers can be reached at 805.827.4444. This direct line is posted at each designated stop for rider convenience.

Owned and operated by Downtown Ventura Partners, the trolley is the result of a collaborative partnership that includes the Ventura Port District, Ventura Harbor Village, Rhumb Line Restaurant, Ventura County Fairgrounds and the City of Ventura. Additional supporters include Watermark Restaurant, NeedThree, Montecito Bank & Trust, City of Ventura Environmental Sustainability, Ventura Water, Island Packers, Andria’s Seafood Restaurant & Market, Crowne Plaza Ventura Beach Hotel, Ventura Visitors & Conventions Bureau, Ventura County Air Pollution Control District and Ventura County West.

Beginning July 3 for the summer season, the trolley will operate five days a week, Wednesday through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., providing regular, reliable service for residents and visitors.

Whether you’re heading to a waterfront restaurant, staying at a local hotel, visiting the fairgrounds or exploring downtown shops and attractions, the Downtown–Harbor Trolley offers a free, convenient way to move around Ventura without the hassle of driving and parking.
