United Expands Routes: New Nonstop Flights and Destinations

United has launched several new domestic routes this month, expanding its network and increasing travel options for customers across the United States.

Beginning March 8 and 9, United began new service from Denver (DEN) to multiple California, Texas, and Florida destinations: Santa Rosa, California (STS); Brownsville, Texas (BRO); West Palm Beach, Florida (PBI); Pensacola, Florida (PNS); Sarasota, Florida (SRQ); and Destin, Florida (VPS). On March 8, the carrier also started flights between Los Angeles (LAX) and Redding, California (RDD), and on March 9 it inaugurated service connecting Cleveland (CLE) and Tampa (TPA).

Further additions to the schedule will take effect later in March. Service between Los Angeles and Eugene, Oregon (EUG) begins March 30. On March 31, United will launch new routes linking Denver with Everett, Washington (PAE), and Flagstaff, Arizona (FLG); Newark (EWR) with Hilton Head Island (HHH); Washington, D.C. (IAD) with Elmira, New York (ELM); Manchester, New Hampshire (MHT) with Hilton Head Island; Los Angeles with Madison, Wisconsin (MSN) and Pasco, Washington (PSC); and San Francisco (SFO) with Everett, Washington (PAE).

“These new routes demonstrate our continued commitment to offer our customers more choices than any other airline while making the travel experience more convenient,” said Ankit Gupta, vice president of domestic network planning at United.

The expanded schedule connects leisure and regional markets with major hubs, offering both seasonal and year-round options to serve business travelers, families, and leisure passengers. By adding these city pairs, United aims to reduce travel times and provide more nonstop choices for communities that previously relied on connecting flights.

Passengers can expect a mix of frequencies and aircraft types depending on route demand. United’s network planning team evaluates market trends and customer needs when introducing new service, tailoring schedules to match peak travel periods and community demand.

These route additions reinforce United’s broader strategy to strengthen its domestic footprint and respond to evolving travel patterns. Travelers in the newly served cities will benefit from increased access to United’s domestic and global connections, loyalty program options, and airport amenities where available.

For travelers considering these new routes, it’s a good idea to review schedules and booking options directly with the airline, as frequencies and aircraft deployments may change seasonally or based on demand.
