United Airlines Launches New Denver–Frankfurt Nonstop Service

Earlier this month, United Airlines began daily nonstop service between Denver (DEN) and Frankfurt (FRA). Operated year-round, this new route is the only nonstop connection between Denver and Germany offered by a U.S. carrier.

The flight departs Denver each day at 3:45 p.m., arriving in Frankfurt at 9:20 a.m. the following day. The return departs Frankfurt at 11:05 a.m. and arrives in Denver at 1:20 p.m. All flights on the route are operated with Boeing 787 aircraft.

“United has added two trans-Atlantic flights from Denver in the last two years, including our newest addition to Frankfurt, which demonstrates our commitment to growing and investing in Denver,” said Steve Jaquith, vice president, Denver, United Airlines.

Jake Cefolia, senior vice president of worldwide sales at United Airlines, highlighted the broader strategy behind the route: “United is committed to expanding our global network for our customers and our employees and we are excited to continue this growth today with the start of new service between Denver and Frankfurt. From the mid-continent United States to the rest of the world, United offers customers traveling for business or leisure more choice and more international flights and destinations than any other carrier.”

For travelers in Colorado and the surrounding region, the new nonstop offers a convenient option for direct access to one of Europe’s major transportation hubs. Frankfurt’s central location and extensive connections make it an efficient gateway to Germany and beyond, reducing total travel time and eliminating connections that previously required transfers.

The Boeing 787 serving the route provides modern cabin amenities, fuel efficiency and range that enable reliable long-haul service. Passengers can expect a selection of cabin classes and in-flight services tailored to both business and leisure travelers, designed to enhance comfort on the transatlantic crossing.

Introducing nonstop flights between Denver and Frankfurt also strengthens business ties and tourism links between the region and Europe. Companies with operations in both markets gain a direct travel option for meetings and collaboration, while visitors gain simpler access to Colorado’s outdoor recreation, events and urban attractions.

As United continues to expand its Denver gateway, the airline is positioning the airport as a growing international hub. The new Frankfurt service complements other transatlantic additions and supports broader connectivity for passengers traveling beyond Germany to destinations across Europe and the Middle East.

Travelers interested in the new nonstop service should consult United’s schedules and booking options for the most current information on fares, frequent flyer benefits and available amenities on the Boeing 787 aircraft.
