The new InterContinental London – The O2 is scheduled to open in late 2015 on the Greenwich Peninsula, an area that has seen substantial growth in visitors since the 2012 Olympic regeneration.
Sited directly beside The O2 and on the banks of the River Thames, the luxury hotel is within easy reach of North Greenwich tube station and offers direct connections to London’s West End in around 15 minutes. The property will feature 453 guestrooms and suites, a dedicated conference centre with 20 flexible meeting rooms, and one of the largest single event spaces of any European hotel, capable of hosting up to 3,000 delegates. Guests can also expect a luxury spa, two restaurants, and an 18th-floor Sky Bar that provides panoramic views across the water toward Canary Wharf and the surrounding skyline.
