Travelle at The Langham, Chicago has introduced a fresh approach to tableside service with the addition of custom cocktail carts.
Created in collaboration with Rockwell Group, Travelle commissioned four bespoke cocktail carts that first appeared in the greenroom at the 86th Annual Academy Awards. Now in use at Travelle, each cart features a brass frame, satin mirrored glass undersides and high-gloss Macassar ebony shelving for a refined and modern presentation.
Highlighting the carts is the signature Madhattan, a creative take on the classic Manhattan served tableside. The Madhattan blends whiskey and sweet vermouth with a touch of Benedictine and house-made smoked simple syrup, stirred and presented over ice for a smoky, balanced finish.
Located on the second floor of The Langham, Chicago, Travelle showcases Chef Tim Graham’s contemporary Mediterranean-inspired menu alongside a carefully curated wine list of approximately 1,600 bottles. The cocktail carts complement the restaurant’s elevated dining experience by offering theatrical, interactive service that engages guests while enhancing each meal.
Travelle’s new cocktail carts reflect a focus on craftsmanship and detail—from the carts’ design to the ingredients used in each signature drink. The combination of elegant materials and tableside mixology creates a memorable moment for diners seeking both flavor and flair.
Whether you’re joining Travelle for a special occasion or a relaxed evening, the carts provide an engaging way to enjoy cocktails with your meal. Skilled bartenders prepare each Madhattan tableside, ensuring the drink is finished to order and presented with care.
The introduction of these carts underscores Travelle’s commitment to thoughtful hospitality and innovation in service, marrying visual design with culinary technique to elevate the guest experience.
