The basement of the Sanctuary Hotel in Times Square has become a dining destination with the arrival of Sushi by Bou. Chef David Bouhadana presents a focused 12-course omakase tasting menu crafted to be enjoyed quickly and precisely. The lineup — Ikura, Hamachi, Akami, Toro, Salmon, Albacore, Uni, Scallop, Botan Shrimp, Wagyuni, Wagyu and Unagi — is served at an intimate eight-seat counter, where each seating is completed in roughly 30 minutes before the space is reset for the next group. In addition to the sushi, a selection of specialty cocktails is available to complement the meal.

Bouhadana trained extensively in Japan’s Kansai region under several sushi masters, bringing traditional technique and attention to detail to his preparations. The Sanctuary Hotel, located at 132 West 47th Street, supports this culinary offering within a property known for its personalized S.T.A.R. Program (Service Tailored to Any Request) and a boutique lodging experience. The hotel features 113 guestrooms appointed in warm tones of orange, chocolate and cognac, with European linens and plush duvets for comfort. Guests can also enjoy a rooftop lounge, a lively lobby bar and ample meeting and event facilities.
