The Greenbrier, the historic resort nestled in the foothills of West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains, has added Webb Simpson—the 2012 U.S. Open champion—to its roster of professional golfers representing the resort.
Simpson joins notable figures such as Golf Pro Emeritus Tom Watson and Kenny Perry. As part of the team, he will display The Greenbrier logo on his golf bag while competing in professional tournaments, participating in pro-am events, and appearing at public golf exhibitions. The Greenbrier will stage the fourth annual Greenbrier Classic, a PGA TOUR FedEx Cup event held on the resort’s storied Old White TPC course, from July 1–7.
This partnership highlights The Greenbrier’s ongoing commitment to the game of golf and its tradition of welcoming top professionals to showcase the resort on national and international stages.
