The property has announced plans to remodel its suites and add a redesigned lobby and reception lounge, a new restaurant, dedicated tea and library lounges, and a private dining area—further reinforcing its position as a residence-style luxury option in central London.
Deepa Harris, senior vice president of global sales and marketing for Taj Group, explained that the strong performance of their London properties motivated a more prominent brand presence in the U.K., an important source market for the chain. She noted that St. James’ Court is being positioned as an emblem of English tradition, while Taj 51 Buckingham Gate will focus on delivering authentic luxury through the warm, personalized service for which Taj is known.
