Swiss International Air Lines has opened a new First Class lounge in Terminal A at Zürich Airport (ZRH). The lounge, which began welcoming guests in early March, extends the refined design and premium services that characterize Swiss’ existing First Class facility in Terminal E.
The SWISS First Class Lounge A combines private lounge suites with a club area furnished with leather sofas, a dedicated business zone, a meeting room with panoramic views, a quiet relaxation room and a designated smokers’ lounge. These distinct spaces are designed to meet a variety of passenger needs, from focused work to calm rest before departure.
The lounge operates daily from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Guests can check luggage at the welcome desk, use a dedicated lounge security checkpoint and store coats securely in locked cubbies for the duration of their stay. These streamlined services make pre-flight routines faster and more convenient.
On the dining side, the lounge features a barista bar serving specialty coffees and a full cocktail selection, plus two dining concepts: an à la carte restaurant menu and a made-to-order dining station. When passengers are ready to depart, they can be escorted directly from the lounge to their aircraft by limousine, ensuring a seamless transition from lounge to gate.
In addition to the lounge itself, SWISS is introducing an exclusive chauffeur service for inbound First Class passengers arriving at Terminals E and B or at remote stands. This inbound service meets passengers at the aircraft door and transports them directly to the appropriate passport or security control, reducing transfer time and simplifying onward travel.
Access to the SWISS First Class Lounge A is reserved for SWISS First Class passengers and HON Circle members within the Lufthansa Group. The new facility reinforces SWISS’s focus on privacy, comfort and attentive service for premium travelers at Zürich Airport.
