The new SWISS First Lounge A opened in Zurich last week. The 7,000-square-foot facility includes dedicated check-in and security, a restaurant and bar, and — beginning this summer — a chauffeur service.
Access is reserved for first-class SWISS passengers and Lufthansa Group HON Circle members. The lounge is reached via the Terminal A departure concourse escalator.
Designed in the same spirit as the SWISS First Lounge in Terminal E, Lounge A offers private lounge suites, a lounge club, a business area, a meeting room, a relaxation suite and a smokers’ lounge with its own outdoor area and a curated selection of fine whiskies. Interior details include oiled oak parquet flooring, limestone walls and Swiss-designed furnishings that create a calm, refined atmosphere.
The barista station serves specialty coffees and an extensive range of Swiss grappas and brandies, while the restaurant provides both an à la carte menu and a hibachi option for guests seeking a more interactive dining experience.
Lounge A is tailored primarily to short-haul travelers. Passengers departing on long-haul flights can take a limousine transfer from Lounge A to the SWISS lounge in Terminal E, the departure point for long-haul services.
The lounge operates daily from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., offering a comfortable and stylish space for eligible travelers to relax, work, or dine before their flights.
