The antidote to ice and snow? Surfing in Costa Rica. No need to worry if “hang ten” sounds unfamiliar—Surf Simply’s professional team will guide you from your first paddle out to confident wave riding, whatever your experience level. Their all-inclusive one- and two-week surf camps take place in tropical Nosara and are led by six instructors certified by the International Surfing Association and the International Life Saving Federation, specializing in technical surf coaching. Camps are intentionally small, limited to 12 guests, and every lesson includes in-water coaching, theory sessions, and video feedback to accelerate progress.
Each camp package covers instruction, all meals, accommodation (with private bungalow options available), and airport transfers. Guests can also add daily surfing-focused yoga or a full-body massage to enhance recovery and performance. Wednesdays are reserved for downtime and a selection of local activities: quad biking, zip lining with a waterfall swim, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, sport fishing, guided ATV trails, or horseback rides through jungle paths and along the shoreline.
Beyond adventure sports, guests can visit nearby wildlife rescue efforts such as Nosara Wildlife Rescue Center and SIBU Sanctuary to see howler monkeys and other native animals. Admission to the sanctuary is free for visitors, and Surf Simply contributes a donation for each guest who makes the visit. With focused coaching, small groups, and a varied activity program, Surf Simply offers a balanced surf retreat that blends skill development, relaxation, and responsible wildlife engagement in a lush coastal setting.
