Inspired by the work of the hotel’s original designer, Beverly Hills-based Forchielli Glynn, LLC led the renovation to reflect The Peninsula’s commitment to exceptional service, updated amenities and modern, state-of-the-art technology, all balanced with timeless, stylish aesthetics.

Built in a classic Renaissance style to resemble a gracious private residence, The Peninsula Beverly Hills combines personal touches—like embroidered pillowcases and a tranquil Roof Garden and Spa—with communal comforts such as The Living Room, where fireplaces and a resident pianist create a welcoming atmosphere.
Accommodations reflect laid-back sophistication and Southern California charm. Each room features custom furnishings, marble bathrooms, ergonomic work areas and electronic controls for convenience and comfort.

Deluxe rooms received a striking update, now showcasing soft French blue walls that evoke California’s clear skies. Natural light pours in through Juliet balconies overlooking palm-lined streets. Textile details include floral-patterned canopies by French house Manuel Canovas framing plush beds with royal blue gingham skirts. Other rooms explore a soft peach palette with classic Brunschwig & Fils tree-of-life patterns, pale Champagne walls and coral accents.
Stand-alone villa suites set amid lush gardens offer hardwood floors, spacious balconies and warm, soft yellow tones that complement individual fireplaces. French-inspired canopies combine magnolia motifs and pineapple accents—the traditional symbol of hospitality—creating an inviting, sunlit ambiance.
The redesigned Peninsula Suite blends Asian textiles with striking objets d’art—Chinese blue-and-white porcelain, hand-knotted Savonnerie rugs and hand-painted Chinoiserie murals. The California Suite celebrates the hotel’s hometown spirit with eclectic artwork, plush furnishings, gilded chandeliers and subtle floral prints. The five updated Signature Color Suites each retain a unique character through distinct palettes, fireplaces, curated book collections and original artwork for a comfortable, home-like feel.
