Southwest Airlines has announced refreshed nonstop service options as it extends its bookable schedule through January.
Starting Nov. 4, Southwest will launch new nonstop routes from New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA) to New Orleans (MSY), West Palm Beach (PBI), Orlando (MCO), Dallas (DFW), Denver (DEN) and Kansas City (MCI). By the end of November, travelers can expect as many as 35 daily departures from LaGuardia on Southwest.
At the same time, Southwest is expanding service at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) with new and increased frequencies to Oklahoma City (OKC), Nashville (BNA) and Dallas, strengthening connections across the central and southern U.S.
On the West Coast, additional nonstop flights take effect Nov. 4, including San Jose (SJC) to Tucson (TUS), Portland (PDX) to Orange County (SNA), Burbank (BUR) to Houston (HOU) and Chicago Midway (MDW), and Long Beach (LGB) to Sacramento (SMF) and Las Vegas (LAS). These additions broaden regional options and improve point-to-point travel across the western network.
Southwest is also adding international service this fall, launching new seasonal routes between Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Havana (HAV) and between Chicago Midway (MDW) and Cabo San Lucas (CSL), providing more leisure travel choices for customers.
“Today’s schedule extension shows the depth of Southwest’s growing network with new nonstop links among even more cities than ever before,” said Adam Decaire, managing director of network planning at Southwest. “Our teams are highly energized by continuing to develop our route map with more flights between more places while maintaining our core focus of connecting people to what’s important in their lives.”
These schedule additions reflect Southwest’s focus on expanding point-to-point service, adding capacity where demand supports direct connections, and offering more nonstop choices for both business and leisure travelers. Passengers should check Southwest’s official schedule for exact start dates, frequencies, and flight times as the airline finalizes seasonal and daily departures through January.
