On the westernmost tip of Sint Maarten, Sonesta Ocean Point Resort elevates its all-inclusive dining with the addition of Portofino, a restaurant presenting a contemporary take on classic Northern Italian cuisine. Portofino joins two other open-air venues reserved exclusively for Ocean Point guests: Azul Restaurant and Bluefin Restaurant + Bar.

Executive Chef Francisco Almonte and his culinary team are committed to redefining all-inclusive dining by showcasing seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Their menus blend international influences with the bright, distinctive flavors of the Caribbean.
Signature dishes at Portofino include Carpaccio di Manzo—paper-thin slices of raw beef tenderloin served with Parmesan and peppery arugula—and Tagliatelle Frutti di Mare, a seafood pasta featuring scallops, calamari, shrimp and black mussels finished in a white wine sauce. Portofino operates in the evening and offers à la carte options as well as a five-course tasting menu on select nights.

Azul Restaurant sits dramatically on a cliff overlooking Maho Bay and serves a Mediterranean-inspired menu. Highlights include dishes such as Roasted Duck Leg with a honey orange glaze. Azul offers breakfast daily and rotates its lunch and dinner selections to reflect fresh, seasonal produce.
Located above Azul, Bluefin Restaurant + Bar focuses on lighter fare and health-forward options. In the afternoons it serves small plates and snacks, while evenings feature a poke-inspired menu with choices like Soy Tuna and Teriyaki Salmon bowls. Guests can also customize bowls from an array of proteins, toppings and bases for a personalized meal.
