SO/ Ras Al Khaimah: First All-Inclusive Resort Opens on Al Marjan Island

The new SO/ Ras Al Khaimah resort in the United Arab Emirates opened in mid-November 2025, marking the brand’s debut on Al Marjan Island and its first presence in Ras Al Khaimah.

Positioned along the Arabian Gulf coastline and roughly 90 minutes from Dubai, this 10-story resort introduces a fashion-inspired, lifestyle-luxury concept to the region. The property is the first in a planned series of avant-garde lifestyle hotels designed to raise regional hospitality standards with bold design, curated experiences and a strong focus on style.

With 257 rooms and suites, each offering sea views, SO/ Ras Al Khaimah blends fashion-forward interiors with the region’s natural beauty. Interior design led by Kristina Zanic Consultants uses a palette inspired by the island — sunset orange, ocean blue and natural green — alongside tactile materials such as walnut, sandstone and bronze to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. The resort integrates art, fashion, shopping and dining throughout its public and private spaces.

The property showcases curated art and handcrafted pieces from Curio, a global platform representing more than 100 makers and artisans. These pieces embody SO/’s commitment to creativity and self-expression. Guests can choose from seven room categories, from the intimate SO/ Collection Sea View to the expansive Signature Club with private pool and beach access. Event and meeting spaces accommodate up to 300 attendees, making the resort well suited for both leisure and small-to-medium events.

Wellness is a central pillar of the resort experience. A dedicated spa offers treatment rooms, a sauna, Jacuzzi pool and tailored therapies, while a fully equipped gym presents fitness classes and programs. For outdoor enthusiasts, activities such as hiking, golf, horseback riding and kayaking are available to explore the dramatic coastline and hinterland.

He emphasized that the partnership was essential to the resort’s launch and noted the property aims to attract a new, style-oriented clientele while elevating the destination’s appeal.

Culinary offerings reflect the resort’s creative identity with four distinct venues: The Market provides casual all-day dining; Chiano offers Mediterranean cuisine; Hadaba specializes in refined Levantine flavors; and Savant serves as a signature cocktail lounge with live entertainment. Two pool bars, including an adults-only Bungalow, plus a dedicated beach club, complete the resort’s food and beverage program.

To mark the opening, the resort launched a Stay in Style, Win the Iconic Night ultra all-inclusive package. The offer includes promotional rates, complimentary airport transfers and the chance to win a night in the Iconic Suite. Reservations are currently open.
