Aeromexico Launches New Flights Between Mexico City and Boston

Aeromexico has launched non-stop service between Mexico City International Airport and Boston Logan International Airport, strengthening direct travel links between New England and Latin America. The new route provides seamless connections to 16 major Latin American cities served via Mexico City, including Buenos Aires, Lima and Bogotá.

Flights operate daily except Tuesdays, using 124-seat Boeing 737-700 aircraft configured with 12 business-class seats. The schedule and aircraft choice are designed to offer a reliable, comfortable option for both leisure and business travelers across the Americas.

“We are very pleased to add our 16th destination in the United States, reflecting the airline’s commitment to increase our presence in one of our most important markets,” said Anko van der Werff, chief revenue officer at Aeromexico. “Boston is a city of great importance for Mexico and Latin America because of its global economic potential and extensive academic offerings that draw many students from Mexico and Latin America every year.”

The new service expands connectivity for passengers traveling between New England and Latin America, making direct travel faster and simplifying connections through Mexico City’s hub. Travelers can now reach numerous destinations across South and Central America with fewer stops, while Boston benefits from enhanced ties to key economic and educational centers in the region.

Business travelers will find the daily frequency (except Tuesday) convenient for weeklong trips and meetings, while students and visiting families gain more direct options for seasonal and year-round travel. The Boeing 737-700 cabin layout aims to balance capacity and comfort, offering business-class seats for those seeking added privacy and amenities and an economy cabin suited to a wide range of travelers.

This route addition is part of Aeromexico’s broader strategy to expand its footprint in the United States and to strengthen hub-and-spoke connectivity through Mexico City. By linking Boston to Mexico City, the airline enhances onward connections across Latin America, supporting both point-to-point travel and multi-destination itineraries.

Passengers planning travel between Boston and Latin America should consult Aeromexico’s official site or contact the airline directly for the most up-to-date schedules, fare classes and baggage policies. The carrier’s presence in Boston is expected to support growth in business, tourism and academic exchanges between the region and Latin American markets.
