SeaWorld Orlando has introduced an original live show. In a first-of-its-kind collaboration, SeaWorld and Bubble Legendary present Pop, a performance inspired by the bubbles found in the ocean and translated into an artistic, family-friendly spectacle unique to SeaWorld.
Choreographed to an original musical score, each performance invites viewers to tap into a childlike sense of wonder while exploring imaginative techniques for creating and manipulating bubbles of many shapes and sizes. Performers use timing, movement and visual effects to turn simple bubbles into theatrical moments that engage guests of all ages.
“I looked to the sea and found amazing inspiration. The bubbles found naturally in our oceans, trails of bubbles left by swimming penguins and bubbles created by dolphins and whales all came to mind,” said Fan Yang, founder of Bubble Legendary. “I’m proud of this collaboration with SeaWorld and I hope every guest who attends Pop will love it as much as I do.”
Each presentation of Pop enhances bubble artistry with advanced lighting, sound design and laser effects, all working together to create depth and texture around the floating spheres. A striking 23-foot-tall screen provides a dynamic backdrop for projections that complement the live action. The show builds to a finale that surrounds the entire theater in cascades of bubbles while synchronized lights, lasers and music combine into an immersive wave of sight and sound.
Pop is staged multiple times each day at the Nautilus Theater through Sept. 4. Like other SeaWorld productions, admission to Pop is included with park entry. Guests who prefer reserved seating can purchase options either online or at the park to secure their preferred viewing area.
This new production also signals the start of SeaWorld’s summer season, which features several fresh attractions and nighttime offerings. Among the new experiences is Kraken Unleashed: Virtual Reality Experience, a virtual-reality-enhanced ride that pairs immersive visuals with a high-energy roller coaster. After dark, SeaWorld’s Electric Ocean transforms the park into a luminous underwater world, blending lights, music and a firework finale to create an energetic nighttime celebration.
