Rosewood Sanya opened last month, featuring 246 ocean-facing guestrooms, 45 of which include private balcony plunge pools. The design celebrates the meeting of land and sea, combining warm wood accents, sculptural totems and aquatic motifs. Curated artworks are placed throughout the property, from the arrival lobby to the infinity pool bar, while the 14th-floor reception area offers uninterrupted views of the South China Sea.
Located within a 40-acre landscaped resort complex near the Sanya Forum—the region’s largest convention center—Rosewood Sanya also caters to events and gatherings. The hotel includes a grand ballroom, six additional event spaces and a residential-style venue suitable for smaller, private functions.
Dining options span five restaurants and lounges. East Kitchen, situated on the 13th floor, serves modern comfort dishes and specialty cocktails with sea views. The HAI infinity pool bar offers a curated drinks menu prepared by the resident mixologist. Later this month the property will open The Fishmonger, a market-style, open-kitchen concept focused on fresh seafood. For elegant outdoor meals, the Chop House provides seaside dining with a refined menu. In addition to on-site restaurants, the resort runs A Sense of Taste, an exclusive culinary program that arranges private, guided tours and intimate access to authentic local food experiences.
Guests can enjoy a variety of resort activities, including water sports, golf, yoga classes, and full access to the spa, fitness studio and multiple pools. The resort’s leisure offerings are designed for both relaxation and active recreation, with options for families, couples and solo travelers.
To mark its opening, Rosewood Sanya is offering two special packages: the Essential Sanya Offer and the Sanya Indulgence Offer. The Essential Sanya package includes a one-night stay, breakfast buffet for two, sunset cocktails, a welcome fruit basket, a bottle of wine and a complimentary stocked mini bar. The Sanya Indulgence package adds private airport transfers, a welcome fruit platter, a one-hour spa treatment for two, daily breakfast buffet for two, sunset cocktails and a dining credit. Both packages are valid through Dec. 29, with blackout dates from Sept. 30 to Oct. 7.
