The Ritz-Carlton, Jeddah is scheduled to open this summer as the brand’s second property in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, joining The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh.
Herve Humler, president and chief operating officer of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, said the Jeddah opening is a significant moment for the brand in a fast-growing market. He noted it reinforces the company’s commitment to the Kingdom and supports its broader strategy to expand the global portfolio.
Sited on eight acres along Al Hamra Corniche, the striking new hotel will feature 224 guest rooms, including 30 royal suites, and four distinctive dining venues. The property is designed to serve both leisure and business travelers, with extensive meeting and event facilities that reflect the rising importance of the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) segment in Saudi Arabia. Among its event spaces is a grand auditorium with seating for 1,500 guests, alongside flexible meeting rooms and banquet facilities suitable for a wide range of occasions.
With its prominent waterfront location and luxurious accommodations, The Ritz-Carlton, Jeddah aims to offer residents and visitors an elevated hospitality experience rooted in the brand’s signature service standards. The hotel’s dining outlets, guest rooms and suite offerings have been planned to appeal to international travelers and local guests alike, while the sizable event spaces position it as a destination for major conferences, cultural events and high-profile gatherings in the region.
The development underscores the brand’s efforts to grow in key markets and to partner with regional stakeholders who support long-term tourism and business development. Opening this summer, The Ritz-Carlton, Jeddah is poised to become a new landmark on Jeddah’s Corniche and a prominent venue for both social and corporate events in the Kingdom.
