Radisson Opens New Hotel at Zürich Airport in 2024

Zürich Airport now hosts a newly branded upscale Radisson Hotel.

The property, which has 211 guest rooms, previously operated under Radisson Hotel Group’s mid-market Park Inn brand. It reopened last month after a full refurbishment and conversion to the Radisson Hotel identity. The hotel remained open to guests throughout the renovation.

Facilities at the refreshed hotel include ten meeting and conference rooms, a fitness center and an Italian restaurant called Bocca Buona. A dedicated airport shuttle reaches the terminals in about seven minutes, while central Zürich is roughly 20 minutes away by train. Radisson Hotel Group also manages a Radisson Blu property inside Zürich Airport.

Radisson Hotel Group is investing heavily to grow its presence across central and southern Europe, with recent expansion and renovation projects totaling approximately $66.8 million. In recent years the group has opened a Radisson Blu in the Swiss Alps and added a Radisson Collection hotel in Warsaw. In Türkiye, Radisson Blu and Radisson Residences properties have launched in İstanbul. The company has also completed renovations at hotels in Frankfurt and Cologne, while Radisson Blu properties in Basel and Milan are currently undergoing redesigns. Looking ahead, a 250-room Radisson Blu is scheduled to open in Geneva in 2022, and a Radisson Collection property has been signed in Paris.
