Set on a private four-acre peninsula on Bonaire in the Dutch Caribbean, Harbour Village Beach Club is repeatedly recognized as a top destination for diving and snorkeling. The resort enjoys extraordinarily clear Caribbean waters ideal for exploring numerous wrecks and reef sites, including the 60-foot shipwreck of Our Confidence. Guest suites, each with a private lanai and double hammock, sit amid lush tropical gardens a short stroll from white-sand beaches. The ship-shaped La Balandra restaurant, named after a historic Spanish sailing vessel, extends over the water, and a peaceful spa offers therapeutic treatments such as massage, reflexology and aromatherapy. The resort also hosts an on-site First Class 5 Star PADI Instructor Development Center where guests can pursue scuba certification.
Harbour Village was a founding supporter of Bonaire’s Coral Restoration Foundation and invites guests to join a hands-on coral restoration program. Visitors can help introduce baby staghorn and elkhorn corals to existing colonies near the beach, an effort that helps create habitat for marine life and contributes to reef rebuilding. Trained dive masters lead guided courses that teach participants how to care for these coral species. Course fees support ongoing coral conservation efforts, helping to protect the reefs that make Bonaire a premier location for underwater exploration.
