New York City’s most iconic skyscraper now offers a premium guided tour that provides an intimate, curated way to experience the Empire State Building.
Launched recently, these premium tours are available by reservation only and are tailored for small groups of up to seven guests. Each tour visits several notable areas of the landmark, beginning with the fully restored Art Deco lobby and continuing through the Celebrity Walk and the Sustainability Exhibit, which highlights the building’s award-winning energy-efficiency retrofit.
Guests also visit the Dare to Dream exhibit, which presents the story of the building’s construction and its place in architectural history. The experience culminates with access to both the 86th-floor open-air observatory and the 102nd-floor indoor observatory, offering sweeping 360-degree panoramas of New York City.
For groups with specific interests, a customizable option is available. Visitors can request a tour that emphasizes particular areas of the building or focuses on specialized facts and anecdotes beyond the standard itinerary. Both the standard and customized tours last approximately 90 minutes and are offered three times daily.
The tour is priced at $150 per person and is designed for guests who want a more private, in-depth visit than the general access experience provides. Reservations are required, ensuring an attentive, small-group visit that highlights the Empire State Building’s history, design, and sustainability achievements.
